Paddle at your own pace and decide for yourself whether you want to go on a shorter trip or stay out for several hours. With the sea surrounding the entire island of Getterön, there are plenty of opportunities to tailor your trip to the weather, wind, and your experience level. Maybe you’ll paddle along the coast, explore one of the coves, or just enjoy some time on the water?
Choose the Right Fold
Tredje Vik is a great choice for beginners. The water here is shallow and calmer, which makes it easier to get onto the SUP board and find your balance.
The Fourth Bay is ideal for those with a little more experience. Here, you can start right from the beach or set out from one of the piers and paddle along the coast.
Tips for a Safe Experience
Is this your first time paddling? Start by kneeling on the board to find your balance before carefully standing up. Take it easy, find your balance, and enjoy the ride!
And most importantly, never paddle alone. Make sure there are always at least two people out on the water, and plan your trip according to the weather and wind conditions.
