Receptionist
As a receptionist at Getteröns Camping, you’re responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy their stay and feel welcome. You’re the face of the company and the first person guests meet upon arrival. Your duties will include checking guests in and out, handling reservations and phone calls, and collaborating with other departments to ensure that daily routines run smoothly.
We are looking for a positive person with a strong commitment to customer service and a passion for meeting people. You should be skilled at handling stressful situations and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in Swedish and English is required to communicate with our international guests, and knowledge of German is a plus.
The position is part-time during spring and fall, and full-time during the high season. The work will start at the end of April and continue until mid-September when the campsite will close. Training will take place in the spring.
Getteröns Camping is one of Halland’s largest vacation resorts and is located on a peninsula just 4 km from downtown Varberg. We have about 460 campsites and 25 cabins. We offer activities such as adventure golf, a kids’ club, a restaurant and bar, a game room, a relaxation area, and fantastic service from our staff.
The staff who work at the campground and at the front desk are the heart of our business, and we place a tremendous emphasis on well-being and joy. Getting to work with great colleagues right by your side, at every level of the company, is what makes our campground so special.

Activity Leader
As an activity leader at Getteröns Camping, it’s important that you have a high degree of creativity and a strong sense of responsibility so you can give the children a safe, fun, and memorable vacation. You need to be attentive and able to communicate easily with both children and parents.
On weekends and during peak season, our kids’ club is in full swing, and as an activity leader, your job is to plan and lead various activities for the children. These can range from crafts and baking to soccer and crab fishing. The only limit is your imagination!
We’d love for you to have a genuine passion for working with children and a positive attitude. We encourage you to be creative, think outside the box, and come up with your own ideas to give all our young campers a really fun vacation.
Experience and education are a plus, but they are not required to apply for the job. The children who usually participate in our activities are between 3 and 12 years old, and the work takes place both indoors and outdoors.
So, are you ready for some crafty days indoors when it’s pouring rain, or to get a nice T-shirt tan while crab fishing? If so, this might be the perfect fit for you!

Cleaners
Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for customer service? If so, you could be the perfect addition to our team!
We are hiring staff from April through September. The position is part-time during the spring and full-time during the summer. As part of our housekeeping team, you’ll be responsible for cleaning our cottages, service buildings, restaurant, and staff areas. Cleanliness plays a key role in our guests’ experience, and our housekeeping team is highly appreciated by our guests.
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys a variety of tasks, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, both working independently and as part of a team. Experience in the service industry and knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards for a service facility are a plus. You must be fluent in spoken Swedish or English.

Caretaker
Are you handy, solution-oriented, and do you enjoy a varied job where no two days are alike? If so, you might be the person we’re looking for to join our maintenance team at Getteröns Camping!
As a groundskeeper with us, you’re an important part of our day-to-day operations and provide friendly service to our guests. The job mainly involves mowing the lawn, performing maintenance, cleaning, and caring for the properties, as well as developing and keeping the campground’s outdoor areas attractive and well-maintained.
We’re looking for someone who is cheerful, outgoing, and service-oriented—and who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. You need to be responsible, hands-on, and have a natural knack for solving problems as they arise.
Previous experience with similar tasks is a plus, but the most important thing is that you are handy, take responsibility, and enjoy hands-on, physical work.
We operate seasonally from April through September and are looking to hire additional staff for the summer.
