Receptionists
As a receptionist at Getteröns Camping, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests are happy and feel welcome. You are the face of the company and the first person guests meet on arrival. Your duties will include checking in and out guests, handling reservations, making phone calls, and collaborating with other departments to ensure that daily routines run smoothly.
We are looking for a positive person with a strong sense of service and a passion for meeting people. You should be good at handling stressful situations and have the ability to work both independently and in a team. Fluency in Swedish and English is required to communicate with our international guests, and knowledge of German is a merit.
The position is part-time during spring and fall, and full-time during the high season. The work will start at the end of April and continue until mid-September when the campsite will close. Training will take place in April.
Getteröns Camping is one of Halland’s largest holiday facilities and is located on a peninsula just 4 km from central Varberg. We have 460 campsites and 25 cottages and are open from mid-April to mid-September. We offer activities such as mini-golf, kids club, yoga, fitness, restaurant and bar, games room, relaxation area and a great service from our staff team.
The staff who work at the campsite and at the reception are the heart of our business and where we put enormous focus on well-being and joy. Working with great colleagues close to you at all levels of the company is what makes our campsite special.

You will be invited to an interview at the campsite, Valvikavägen 3, 43293 Varberg. Register at the reception upon arrival. Please bring a certificate of service from a previous workplace, if available.
Children’s club
As an activity leader, it is important to have a high degree of creativity and a sense of responsibility in order to provide the children with a safe and fun experience. It is also important that you are responsive and communicate well with both children and parents. During weekends and the high season, our children’s club is busy and as an activity leader it is your task to plan and implement different activities for the children. It can be anything from crafts and baking to football and crab fishing. The sky’s the limit and it’s up to you and your colleague to make sure the children have a memorable stay with us. We want you to have a genuine passion for working with children and a positive attitude. We also encourage you to be creative and think outside the box to give kids a memorable vacation. Having experience and education is an advantage but it is not a requirement to apply for the job. The ages of the children who usually participate are around 3-10 years old and the work is both indoors and outdoors. So if you’re ready to have crafty indoor days when it’s raining, or to get a lovely t-shirt tan while crabbing, – then this is a hands-on job for you!

Cleaners
Join our fantastic cleaning team – apply today!
Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for customer service? If so, you could be the perfect addition to our team. We are looking for staff from April to September. In spring it is part-time and in summer it is full-time. As part of our cleaning team, you will work in our cottages, service houses, restaurant & staff areas. Hygiene plays an important role in our guests’ experience and our cleaning team is highly appreciated by our guests.
We are looking for people who are meticulous, enjoy varied tasks and work well in a fast-paced environment, both when working alone and in groups. Experience in the service industry with knowledge of hygiene and sanitation for a service establishment is advantageous. You must be able to speak Swedish or English.
Head of cleaning! We are also looking for someone who likes to take responsibility and ensure that the guest experience exceeds their expectations. We are looking for a full-time, year-round employee. In this position, you are the supervisor of the cleaning team. You will be in charge of organization, purchasing, training, cleaning, scheduling, etc.

Caretaker
We are looking for caretakers to join our team for the summer of 2024. As part of our team, you will have a friendly approach to our customers and help with various tasks. The work consists mainly of grass cutting, maintenance, cleaning and real estate, as well as developing the outdoor areas of the campsite. We are looking for someone who is happy, social and enjoys working both independently and in a group. The position is 70-100% and runs mainly from June to August.
Do you have previous experience in similar tasks or do you have a natural aptitude for solving problems, taking responsibility and being physically creative? Do not hesitate to apply for this position! As we receive many applications every year, please send your CV with photo and cover letter as soon as possible (we hire on a rolling basis). We operate on a seasonal basis between April and September and working hours vary by agreement. The age group is between 16-55 years old.
In addition to seasonal workers, we are also looking for a caretaker for a permanent position.

Restaurant
Summer jobs available at Brasseriet!
Our restaurant Brasseriet is looking for happy and positive colleagues for the summer season. We appreciate experience in similar work, but it is not a requirement – with the right attitude, anything can be learned! We’re looking for staff for serving, bar, cashier, kitchen and more, who can work between April and September with varying working hours. Delivering excellent service is essential in our workplace!
Wanted: Cooks
If you are passionate about cooking, you are the right person for us! We will have a simple menu with delicious dishes such as pasta, burgers, fish n chips, schnitzel and the like. Maybe you have your own ideas? We are looking for a chef who likes to take responsibility and initiative, who is sociable and tolerates stress. Working hours will vary between part-time in the low season and full-time in the high season. This means that you must be able to work late and have good cooperation skills with your colleagues. Good cooperation is required because it is important that we have fun at work, which is our aim here at Brasseriet!
The brasserie – the heart of the campsite
The campsite restaurant Brasseriet is the heart of the campsite. The restaurant should provide a pleasant environment where you can enjoy good food and drink and socialize with friends. Everyone is welcome, both on two and four legs. We serve tasty and simple food without unnecessary hassle, such as beef burgers, bake-off pizzas, salads and other snacks. Our people are at the heart of our business and we place a huge emphasis on job satisfaction and happiness.
