Experience Varberg on two wheels and feel the wind against your body while smelling the seaweed with amazing views of the sea, city and forest.

A safe bet is the bike ride along the Strandpromenaden, which winds along the sea from the fortress to the beach of Apelviken. Along the promenade you will find bathing areas, seating areas and restaurants.

4km to Varberg center. We offer regular full-size pedal bikes and electric bikes for those who may be looking for a longer ride or want a tailwind on their ride. Simply rent your bike at the reception. Don’t you have your own helmet? We can arrange this, and bicycle helmets can be borrowed from the reception.

The Kattegattsleden is a 390km cycle path along the coast that stretches from Gothenburg, through Halland and finally Skåne, more specifically Helsingborg. With 8 stages where you can of course choose to cycle one or more stages, you might choose to cycle the whole route in one summer. The cycle route winds its way through stunning views through woodland, urban areas, small villages, farmland, side by side with the sea. All this on cycle paths, busy roads to back roads. 24km Åkulla trail. The trail runs along the beautiful Åkulla beech forest and starts in central Varberg. Along the route, there are opportunities to stop at cafés, including at Åkulla Outdoor Resort.
