Adventure golf
This summer’s big news, experience Halland’s largest adventure golf on Getterön!
Experience our brand-new adventure golf course, spanning a full 900 square meters, with 12 unique holes filled with challenges and fun obstacles. Gather your family and friends and see who can complete the course in the fewest strokes.
The adventure golf course is open to both day visitors and guests staying at the campground, so everyone is welcome to come and play!
Brasseriet
This year we are happy and proud to present the new restaurant owner Christian Erlandsson and staff!
Christian is someone with a wealth of experience with food and people; he is passionate about ensuring that food not only tastes good but is also a delightful experience!
Welcome to the Brasserie to see what he has to offer together with his lovely staff!
150 meters to the sea
Stay at the campsite and discover Vinbärsviken – the fourth bay, just a few steps away! Here you can enjoy a sandy beach, rocks to relax on and stunning sunsets. There are two bathing jetties to cool off in the water, at the bathing jetties is also a great place to fish for crabs.
If you’d like to explore further, just take a leisurely stroll along a short walking path to both the third and fifth coves, just a few hundred meters away, to discover more of Getterön!
Five substitutes
Getterön is our summer gem we want to share with you! With five stunning bays, each with its own personality you can relax on the sandy beaches. Pump iron at the outdoor gym, learn about the sea, the animals and the underwater environment along the snorkeling trail. Or explore the cliffs, play in the playgrounds, fish for crabs and enjoy good food and drinks in restaurants and kiosks or buy the evening’s delicacies for the barbecue in the local the grocery store. With all this and more, our paradise island has everything you need for a great vacation!
10 minutes to the city center
Feel the pulse of the city just four kilometers away! You can easily get to the city center by bike or walking along the bike and pedestrian path with the sea on one side and nature on the other. Or hop aboard the Getterö boats for an exciting sea voyage along the archipelago, docking right at the marina in the heart of the city. Varberg has everything from historic gems and shopping to cafés, stunning architecture and a beautiful promenade. Check out more gems to visit during your time in wonderful Varberg here!
Children's club
The Kids’ Club is where young adventurers meet and make new friendships. We’re hosting a variety of exciting activities here, such as crab fishing, movie nights, bouncy castles, adventure golf, and arts and crafts—just to name a few. A warm welcome to all our little campers!

Take to the sea and discover stand up paddleboarding (SUP).
Glide over calm waves, explore secluded coves and get closer to nature with every paddle.
Activities at the campsite
The campground has a whole bunch of fun activities the whole family can enjoy! We’re talking bounce houses, SUP, a game room, bocce, a soccer field, and so much more! For the adventurous types, there are mountain bikes to rent, (electric) bikes, and—last but not least—a hot tub for those who like to relax on vacation!
Extend the Summer

Enjoy the camping life during the first sunny days of spring or the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere of late summer. A perfect choice for those who want to experience Getterön when things are a little more laid-back, but nature and the sea still offer wonderful days.
The Getterö boats
Take the Getterö ferries to downtown! Leave your car behind and enjoy a lovely boat ride across the sea! With the Getterö ferries, you can easily get from Getterön to downtown Varberg in just about 10 minutes.
Sauna
Experience our new relaxation center! We invite you to unwind in our new relaxation center, a peaceful and serene place to recharge during your stay with us. There are both women’s and men’s saunas, which are included for guests staying at the campground.
