A few kilometers from Varberg city center you will find us, Getteröns camping. By car, boat, bike or walk you can easily reach the picturesque peninsula where we are located. The road here winds its way past the nature reserve, the marina and the airfield to the small community.

Enjoy your holiday to the full in a comfortable and convenient way in one of our cottages located both near the sea and the city center. Choose the type of cottage that best suits your needs, perhaps booking the classic camping cottage. The smaller cottage, of 10 m², offers the necessary comfort and can accommodate up to three people with a small patio perfect for enjoying your morning coffee.
If you are looking for maximum comfort without compromising during your vacation, one of our pleasant premium cabins is perfect. Here you will find a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob, oven and microwave. A furnished veranda and barbecue with sea views and evening sun provide the perfect place to enjoy the afternoon as the board game is brought out while waiting for the barbecue to be ready.

Then Getteröns camping is the obvious choice. We are located in a beautiful summer idyll right by the sea with five different bays along the Getterön coast. Each bay has something unique to offer for the whole family.
We offer a wide range of activities, find something to suit the amenities you desire for your vacation. Getterön is only four kilometers from the center of Varberg, and you can easily get there by bike or on foot along a footpath, or why not enjoy a relaxing boat trip across the island with Getteröbåtarna directly to the center of Varberg.
Camping site

Our campsite is surrounded by golden sandy beaches, cliffs, beautiful nature and the fresh scent of seaweed. Explore the picturesque sandy beaches for sunny days or hike along the cliffs and let yourself be swept away by the roaring sea.

Tents

Motorhome sites
Explore the beauty of the West Coast with your RV and enjoy a comfortable stay on our RV sites. Park on asphalt or paved surfaces with a green grassy area alongside, where each site includes 16 amps of power to ensure a smooth experience.
With proximity to the sea, beautiful beaches and cliffs only a 150m walk before you reach the sea and you can enjoy the sound of the waves. Feel the warm sand between your toes and relax in a scenic setting with gentle cliffs and winding paths along the sea side.
For those who like extra comfort during their vacation, we offer larger premium pitches with electricity, water and drainage. These sites give you more space for relaxed evening barbecues and other amenities you might want for a relaxing RV vacation on the West Coast.
With us, you don’t just get an accommodation, but a whole experience. Let the kids have fun in our kids’ club or on the bouncy castle or one of our two playgrounds. For the four-legged friends, Varberg’s only dog bath is located just below the campsite, on the third bay. There is a dog shower outside service building C for our four-legged friends to shower in after a dip in the sea.
Our sauna and games room provide an opportunity for relaxation and laughter, while the boules and football pitch invite you to get active. Experience exciting events in our restaurant Brasseriet while enjoying good food and drinks in the evening sun.
For those of you who love adventure on vacation, you can rent a SUP, play mini golf, take a bike ride or relax in our bubbling hot tub.

In our service buildings you will find everything you need for a smooth and pleasant stay. There are toilets, showers, a laundry room and fully equipped kitchens with induction hob, microwave and oven. Each building also offers dishwashing facilities, chemical toilets and a practical outdoor counter.
Service House A is also adapted for disabled guests with both toilet and shower facilities, as well as a cozy family room perfect for those with small children.
Right next door is our lovely outdoor room with table, chairs, TV and sofa, a popular gathering place for campers who need extra space for meals or for those who just want to sit down and relax. The conservatory is also perfectly located next to the communal barbecue area, so you can easily finish your evening indoors if you wish.
Our newly renovated Relax House
Welcome to our newly renovated Relaxhus, a place where sea breeze, nature and relaxation meet. Here we have created an environment that takes the camping experience to a new level, focusing on peace, quality and well-being.
The Relax House has undergone a total transformation with carefully selected materials, new tiles, a newly built sauna and fresh changing rooms. With atmospheric lighting and a pleasant climate, this is a place for tranquillity, recovery and pure enjoyment.
Relax in the sauna, soak in the jacuzzi, and let the stresses of everyday life fade away. Whether you want to start the day with a hot sauna or end the evening with a moment of tranquillity, Relaxhuset offers an extraordinary experience.

We’re talking bouncy castle, SUP, dog shower, games room, boules, football pitch, and so much more! For the cool adventurers, there is mountain bike rental, (electric) bike rental,
and not least – spa bath for those who like relaxation on vacation!

Children's club
The Children’s Club is the fabulous place where young adventurers meet and make new friends. It hosts a range of exciting activities such as crab fishing, movie nights, bouncy castles, mini golf and crafts – just to name a few. A warm welcome to all little campers!
